Ingredients
60g ginger, skin left on400ml fresh apple juice½ lemon, juiced
Method
STEP 1
Cut the ginger into small pieces and put it in a blender with the apple and lemon juice. Mix for a few minutes until smooth.
STEP 2
Place a very fine strainer over a pitcher. You can also line a regular strainer with muslin or a clean, thin towel. Pour the juice into the strainer and let it drain. Then press the remaining pulp with a spoon until it is dry. If you are using a cloth, twist it to squeeze out all of the juice. Drink immediately or pour it into a bottle. It will remain chilled for up to four days. Shake well before serving.
