Recipe
1. In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt, then add the yeast, butter and cold milk. Knead well until the dough no longer sticks to your fingers.
2. Let the mixture rise, covered with a cloth, in a warm place for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
3. Boil water in a saucepan with salt and bicarbonate. In the meantime, spread the dough on a work surface and cut it into 10 equal pieces.
4. Shape into pretzels or small baguettes, then dip them one by one in the boiling water. Wait until they float to the surface, then drain on paper towels.
5. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with coarse salt and make several slits on each pretzel. Bake for 15 minutes.
Finally, serve them as an appetizer with beer.
