Cheese pie from France: “Tarte au Maroilles

Ingredients:

– 1 pizza or bread dough (can be purchased from a bakery)
– 1 maroilles cheese
– 1 small pot of thick sour cream (20 cl)
– 1 egg yolk
– 1 paprika

Preparation:

Step 1: Roll out the dough.

Step 2: Scrape the crust off the maroilles cheese (but leave it on). Cut the cheese into thin slices and place them on the dough.

Step 3: Add the sour cream mixed with an egg yolk. Add a little paprika.

Step 4: Bake for about 10 minutes in a hot oven (thermostat 8 / 240°C).
