Cheesy bacon puff pastry cups


for 2 people

2 puff pastry disks

4 slices of carré d’Affinois cheese

4 slices of bacon

chopped parsley and chives


1 egg yolk


1. Preheat the oven to gas mark 8 (hot). Beat the egg yolk and brush it over the pastry disks. Cut the bacon into very thin small pieces.

2. On each pastry disk, place bacon, carré d’Affinois slices, pepper and herbs.

3. Bake for about 10 minutes in a hot oven. (Be careful that the cheese doesn’t melt too much).

Finally, enjoy it hot from the oven, accompanied by a green salad and cherry tomatoes seasoned with a mustard vinaigrette.
