Ingredients

1 cup softened butter

1 ¼ cups packed brown sugar

½ cup white sugar

2 eggs

2 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

2 ½ cups rolled oats

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).

2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until the mixture becomes creamy.

3. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla, beating well.

4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add this mixture to the butter mixture and mix well.

5. Stir in the rolled oats, semisweet chocolate chips, and chopped walnuts.

6. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto ungreased cookie sheets.

7. Bake the cookies for 9 to 10 minutes.

8. Once done, cool the cookies for 1 minute on the cookie sheet, and then remove them onto a wire rack.
