Delicious lobster rolls – the perfect summer snack!


1 tablespoon of softened butter

4 hot dog buns or kaiser rolls, split

4 lettuce leaves

2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

1 teaspoon of fresh lime juice

1 dash of hot pepper sauce (e.g. Tabasco)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, chopped

1 stalk of finely chopped celery

1.5 pounds of cooked and cubed lobster meat

1 pinch of dried basil, parsley, or tarragon


Lightly butter the insides of the hot dog buns or kaiser rolls and line with lettuce leaves. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, stir together mayonnaise, lime juice, hot pepper sauce, salt, and pepper until well blended. Mix in green onions and celery. Gently fold in the lobster until it is just coated.

Stuff the lobster mixture into the buns or rolls. Sprinkle with basil, parsley, or tarragon.
