1 tsp coarse salt
fresh cream (optional), to taste
1 kg pumpkin
2 medium-sized potatoes
1 chicken or beef bouillon cube of choice
Cut the pumpkin into pieces and peel them.
Then peel and quarter the potatoes.
Peel and chop the onion roughly.
Rinse all under cold water and put it in a stewpot.
Cover everything with water up to the height and bring it to the boil. Then add the bouillon cube and coarse salt, and let it cook for about 45 minutes. The vegetables must fall apart.
Blend everything, taste and add pepper and cream if needed.
