Easy Cinnamon Monkey Bread using Cinnamon Rolls. Perfect for breakfast or dessert.


½ cup white sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 (12.4 ounce) package refrigerated cinnamon roll dough with icing

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted


To make this delicious monkey bread, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

Mix the white sugar and ground cinnamon together in a small bowl.

Unwrap the cinnamon roll dough and set the icing packet aside. Cut the dough into quarters.

Dip each quarter into the melted butter, making sure the roll is coated completely.

Next, roll the buttered roll quarter in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, making sure each piece is coated evenly in cinnamon and sugar.

Repeat with each piece until all the dough is coated in cinnamon-sugar.

Place the pieces in the prepared loaf pan, making sure they are evenly distributed.

Bake the monkey bread in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. The monkey bread will be ready when the dough has risen and the top is golden brown.

Next, drizzle the icing packet over the warm monkey bread.

Let the monkey bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes before turning it out onto a plate to serve.
