Grandma’s Best Couscous Recipe: A Friendly Guide


1 Peel the carrots, turnips, celery head, zucchinis, and cut into pieces. Clean everything and add the sliced peppers. Sear the meat (except the merguez sausages) on both sides in hot oil.

2 Brown the onion in oil. Add all the vegetables, pepper, spices and chili.

3 Add a little water. Cook over low heat for 25 minutes.

4 Add the meat. Cook for 30 minutes.

To finish, cook the couscous and fluff it with a fork. Serve the couscous with the semolina.
