Greek Salad” – classic, refreshing mix of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, peppers, feta cheese, olives, and drizzled with olive oil and herbs.

Ingredients

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 green and 1 red pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • pepper
  • salt
  • 1/2 cucumber, diced
  • 150 g feta cheese, cubed
  • lemon juice and zest
  • 50 g black olives (optional)

Preparation

  1. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes and put them in a salad bowl.
  2. Add the cucumber, green pepper, red pepper, and olives.
  3. Mix in half of the onion and the cubed feta cheese.
  4. On top of the salad, layer the remaining onion and feta cheese.
  5. Add the lemon zest and juice, seasoning with oil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and serve.
