Meanwhile, prepare the garnishing ingredients: you can use strawberries, kiwi, chocolate, almonds, yogurt, honey, jam, etc… We propose this version: pour the porridge into bowls and decorate with yogurt and strawberries.

Enrich with maple syrup and dark chocolate flakes. Alternatively, you can opt for a version with berries and dark chocolate flakes, or with kiwi, almonds, raspberry jam, and honey. Let yourself be guided by fantasy and taste your porridge right away!

Storage
It is recommended to consume the porridge as soon as it is ready.

Tip
If you prefer a creamy porridge, it is better to choose extra-fine oat flakes, like those used in this recipe. Whole oat flakes give a more rustic consistency to the porridge, but in this case, it is advisable to soak them overnight.

You can omit honey or substitute it with sugar or maple syrup, depending on the desired sweetness level.

Cow’s milk can be replaced with oat milk or any other plant-based milk of your choice.

You can vary the proportion between water and milk to achieve a result closer to your taste!
