Mexican Ceviche: A Tasty Seafood Dish with Lime Juice and Fresh Vegetables. Learn How to Make It!


5 tomatoes
1/2 onion
1/4 cup chopped coriander (about 12 g)
3 tbsp olive oil
1 pinch of oregano
1 pinch of salt
500 g fish (swordfish, cod, sea bass…)
4 yellow lemons or 8 limes
chopped olives
1 avocado


Step 1

Cut the fish into cubes.

Step 2

Add the juice of 4 lemons and let it marinate in a covered dish in the fridge for at least 6 hours (this is how the fish “cooks”). Once this time has passed, drain the fish.

Step 3

Chop the onion.

Step 4

Cut the tomatoes in half, remove the seeds, and dice them into small squares.

Step 5

Add 2 lemons, olive oil, chopped olives, oregano, and salt to the fish.

Step 6

Mix all ingredients and add coriander (or serve tomatoes on the fish).

Step 7

Serve in cups, adding avocado.
