- 4 red tomatoes
- olive oil
- balsamic vinegar
- Guérande salt
- 300g of mozzarella cheese
- 1 bunch of basil
- pine nuts or chopped walnuts
Cut the mozzarella cheese into 2 to 3 mm thick slices. Thinly slice and cut the tomatoes into rounds.
Arrange the tomato slices on a serving dish, overlapping them to cover the entire dish. Tuck the mozzarella cheese slices in between the tomato slices.
Prepare a dressing with olive oil, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Drizzle the tomato and mozzarella slices with the dressing. Take some fresh basil leaves and thinly slice them, then sprinkle the surface of the tomatoes with pine nuts or chopped walnuts.
Finally, add a pinch of Guérande salt; it will enhance the taste of the tomato and make this dish more refreshing.
