Ingredients:
– Oil
– Vinegar
– Pepper
– Salt
– 5 medium-sized potatoes
– 1 pack of smoked herring
– 1 shallot
Preparation:
Step 1: Boil water in a saucepan and add unpeeled potatoes. Wait for about thirty minutes.
Step 2: While waiting, prepare the sauce and the fillets.
Step 3: For the sauce, mix 3 tablespoons of oil, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, salt and pepper (depending on taste), and the shallot, cut into small pieces.
Step 4: Add the smoked herring fillets, cut into medium-sized pieces, to the sauce.
Step 5: When the potatoes are cooked but not too soft, pierce them with a fork and peel them with a knife.
Step 6: Cut the potatoes into pieces and mix with the herring sauce.
Step 7: Enjoy!
Step 8: Do not wait too long to eat as this salad is best served warm.
