Ingredients
For 6 people:
- 1 pie crust
- 3 large zucchinis
- 1 onion
- 2 eggs
- 20 cl of heavy cream
- 80 g of grated Gruyere cheese
- 6 Strasbourg sausages (knackis)
- salt, pepper
Instructions
- Peel and dice the zucchinis. Peel and slice the onion. In a pan, sauté the zucchinis and onion with a little bit of grease. Add salt and pepper, and let cook for about 20 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the heavy cream. Add the grated Gruyere cheese, salt and pepper.
- Roll out the pie crust in a tart pan and pierce it with a fork.
- Spread the zucchini-onion mixture onto the crust. Then, pour the egg-cream-cheese mixture over it.
- Cut the sausages in half and place them on the tart.
- Bake the tart in the oven for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
